THE BASICS
We offer small-group retreats for writers, illustrators, and other creatives. Goldengrove is also available for getaways and retreats for businesses, women’s groups, and family trips. Our retreats run from Wednesday evenings through Sunday mornings, and we usually host 4-5 guests per retreat. We are also open to bookings for larger groups and day-only retreats.
THE DETAILS
Our aim is for you to rest, recharge, create, and connect (whether it is with your fellow retreat guests, your work, your creative practice, family, friends, yourself, or the natural world around you). Lunch and dinner are provided by Meal House, a local catering service specializing in healthy, seasonal, farm-to-table meals. A simple breakfast buffet is set out by the host, who happily accepts item requests. We also offer optional activities, including a private cold plunge/sauna session at Plunj (Utah’s first and only Nordic-style bathhouse), hikes, guided imagery, and tarot sessions.

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES
Goldengrove is a private home tucked in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains in Provo, Utah (an hour from the Salt Lake City International Airport). Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed and private bathroom. The home also has a library, a hot tub, a fire pit, a large and peaceful backyard/courtyard, and plenty of writing nooks. We are a five-minute walk from world-class hiking and rock climbing, and a forty-minute drive from Sundance Ski Resort.
Cost
Each retreat is $1,500 per person per four-night retreat, with all meals and activities included. Day pricing and pricing for businesses or others who want to book out for different times are available upon request.
